Privacy Policy for OneColor
Last updated: 21 April 2026
OneColor is a photo-journaling app. This policy explains what happens with your data. The short version: nothing leaves your phone.
Data we collect
None. OneColor does not have a backend, does not use analytics, and does not include third-party SDKs that collect data. We have no account system and no way to identify you.
Data stored on your device
OneColor stores the following locally on your iPhone, inside the app’s sandbox:
- Your captures: the photos you take inside OneColor, along with the date they were taken, the color of the day they match, and an optional caption.
- App preferences: whether you completed onboarding, and whether you turned off daily notifications. Stored in iOS UserDefaults.
This data is never transmitted anywhere. It is removed when you delete the app.
Permissions OneColor asks for
- Camera — so you can photograph the color of the day. Required for the core feature.
- Photo Library (Add only) — so OneColor can save your captures to your Photos app. We do not read existing photos from your library.
- Notifications (optional) — so OneColor can remind you of the daily color at 9am. You can decline during onboarding or disable in iOS Settings at any time.
Third parties
OneColor does not share data with any third party because OneColor does not have any data to share.
Children
OneColor is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
